Hi! I have an almost complete set of ornaments using shrink plastic, and pdf’s found here. Is there a place where the last 10 ornaments in pdf form are located? I have one ornament left to do, and it’s in the last group. I only see ornaments listed through #42.

We have made these beeswax candles at church for the last couple of years and the children love them! I actually turn on the oven in the parish kitchen and stack the wax sheets on top of the stove—it is warm enough to soften them, but not melt them. Then the children come in one at a time to roll them right there on top of the stove! We have other activities going on in the parish hall, so this rotating in of one kid at a time works quite well.

Thanks for this post! I’ve wanted to do our stockings on St. Nicholas Day for years- even before we were Orthodox- but have never gotten it together on time. This will be our first year, and I’m so glad it’s a Saturday and my husband will be home with us. I’m going to look at some of the other links you’ve posted as well.
I’m really appreciating this blog. As a new (1 year) convert I feel so inadequate to teach my children this faith that is still so foreign to me in many ways. I plan to do the Jesse Tree with them next year.
